Mrs. Ethel E. Scott of Rt 6 died Wednesday morning at Culver Hospital after a long illness.. She was 78 years old and had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Goldie Bacon for some time. She was born Dec 6, 1887 at Madison. Her parents were Edward Belding and Harriet Pender. In August 1906, she married George Warner at Madison. He died in November of 1938. Mrs. Scott came to Crawfordsville in March of 1953. Surviving in addition to the daughter are one son, William H. Warner of Crawfordsville; two half brothers, Ollie Barnett and J. Raymond Barnett of Balboa, Calif and 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Bernard's Catholic Church of which she was a member a t 9 a.m. Saturday. The Rosary service will be at 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Goodland, Ind in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Bright Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Friday. - kbz
